Repeat prescriptions can be ordered:-
Your prescription will be ready for collection in 48 working hours. If you have an e-mail address or use a mobile phone we can inform you that your dispensed medication is ready for collection.
The surgery can only dispense for those patients living outside St Ives. Please allow 48 hours notice for repeat prescriptions. In line with national recommendations our practice policy is to prescribe for 28 days only at a time, as this has proven to reduce waste. In exceptional circumstances, however, we are able to be flexible.
Patients can order repeat prescriptions at St Ives in person, leave a completed prescription counterfoil at reception, post to the surgery or on line via System on line or via e-mail. For our non-dispensing patients the local chemists offer a collection service for repeat prescriptions. Please contact either of the following chemists to arrange for collection and further information.

Prescription prepayment certificates (PPCs) offer real savings for people who need extensive medication.
From 1 April 2019, the charges will be:-
If you pay for four or more prescription items in three months, or more than 14 items in 12 months, you may find it cheaper to buy a PPC.
There is further information about prescription exemptions and fees on the NHS website
Please allow 48 hours, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed. Any problems please telephone the surgery.
