Pre-natal advice is available as well as ante-natal and post-natal care. Together with our midwife we can provide full support and advice throughout pregnancy, birth and the post-natal period. An ante-natal clinic is held once a week at Ramsey Road Clinic. One of the consultants from Hinchingbrooke Hospital holds regular clinics locally.

Development and Behaviour

All mothers & babies are offered a 6 week review by a doctor and babies are provided with a 12 month review by the doctor also.

Coronary Risk Clinic

This is run by Practice Nurses in conjunction with the doctors. Anyone may attend for cholesterol assessment, blood pressure recording, advice on diet and guidance with lifestyle.

Asthma Clinic

asthma_inhaler4This is run by Practice Nurses in conjunction with the doctors. Regular checks on peak flow measurements and guidance and instructions with inhalers is given.

Minor Injury

The following minor injuries can be assessed by a doctor or nurse, lacerations, bruises, minor dislocations, foreign bodies, minor head injuries, eye injuries, burns and scalds, minor trauma to the body including hands/limbs and feet, bites, falls and whiplash/RTA injuries.

Minor Illness Clinic

We run a nurse led minor illness clinic, which the nurse can assist you with the following:

  • Colds and Flu
  • Coughs
  • Cystitis
  • Diarrhoea & vomiting (we ask that you ring the surgery rather than attend to reduce infection)
  • Dizziness
  • Ear Ache
  • Emergency Contraception
  • Eczema

  • Missed pills
  • Mouth problems
